CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Business Administration programs are designed to prepare people to plan, organize, and control the activities of people and other
resources to achieve the objectives of an organization. Typical options under Business Administration major include: Accounting,
Finance, Management, Human Resources Management, International Business, Management Information Systems,
Operations
Management (or Management Science), Marketing, and Business Law, Real Estate and Labor Relations, Transportation
and Logistics. Not every college offers all of these options; check with the transfer college catalog or web site of your choice.

In most cases, students are eligible to transfer after completing 30 units of transferable coursework,
with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
A maximum of 60 units may be transferred from all community college work.

Before official acceptance into the Business Administration Division, students will be classified as pre-accounting,

To be eligible for admission to the Haas School of Business a student must:
1. Complete all prerequisite courses with letter grades of C- higher no more than five years before starting at UCB.
2. Complete 60 UC transferable semester units.
3. Items 1 and 2 must be completed by the end of the spring term prior to fall enrollment. Note:
Only applicants who have
completed 100% of the prerequisites will be considered for admission.
Failure to complete these prerequisites is the
primary reason for denial of applications.
4. Students must meet the breadth requirement through course work.
AP, A level, or IB exams will not fulfill breadth
requirements. IGETC does not meet breadth requirements.
Note: Apply October 1-November 30 for admission for the following Fall semester.
