30 units from general education (GE), completed with a “C” or better
Golden 4 courses on CSU-GE by the end of Spring 2022, completed with a “C”
or better
1) English 1A
2) Critical Thinking (English 1C or Coms 120 or Phil 105 or Phil 106 or
Psy 103 or Bus 28 (effective fall 2019)
3) Oral Communication (100 or 120 or 130 or 140 or Bus 29 (effective fall
2020, same as SUPVN 27)
4) Transfer Level Math (100 level or higher) or BUS 15 (effective fall 2018
or later) or BUS 17 (effective fall 2018 or later) or COMS 180 or CSCI 7
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Some CSU campuses require major prep courses for admission

*CSULA’s Psychology major requires the AA-T for admission
Benefits
Meet major prep requirements for all CSU campuses that offer “deemed
similar” degree.
.1 CSU transferable GPA increase when applying to an impacted CSU campus.
Guarantees admission to a non-impacted CSU campus.
Ensures completion of bachelor’s degree at university within 60 units or less.
Steps Required for AA-T/AS-T Process:
1) Indicate AA/AS-T status in the “Extended Profile” section of the CSU app.
2) Obtain online link for Intent to Graduate Petition from counselor when you
register for Winter/Spring 2022 courses and submit starting January 2022.
3) Verification will be submitted on your behalf by the Admissions & Records
(A & R) office no later than March 15, 2022. Electronic verification occurs
automatically once you complete Step # 2 (see above).
